Places you can volunteer
Our hospices
Our hospices are a friendly, positive and colourful home away from home for supported families. Volunteers help keep everything running smoothly from reception, housekeeping or cooking to general maintenance, gardening or driving our minibus.
Our shops
Work alongside our managers in our network of local shops making customers feel welcome, processing and pricing donations, steaming clothes and operating the till. It’s a great way to meet new people and help us raise vital funds.
Our events
Volunteering at events is a great way to help at a time that suits you. We have lots of events throughout the year from running a stall at a fete to cheering on our brave marathon runners or marshalling at our Sunrise Walk.
Our support office
A great opportunity to gain experience in the charity sector, develop existing skills and learn new ones. Volunteers help our HR, communications and marketing, finance and fundraising teams with a wide rang of administrative tasks, from taking photos to packing goody bags.
