A Wicked-ly fun day of magic and fun in Hayes
Our events programme in North West London just keeps getting bigger and better, and we’ve got the latest magical adventure to prove it! Our recent Wicked-themed drop-in event for supported and bereaved families was nothing short of enchanting. Glinda the Good Witch herself left Oz to make a special appearance at our new event venue in Hayes – talk about a star-studded visit!
The day was packed with fun and creativity. Families were immersed in a world of arts and crafts, where they could decorate their very own pink or green water bottles, create sparkling jewellery, and even design their own Wicked-inspired costumes. Who knew you could unleash your inner Glinda or Elphaba in such a crafty way?
But the magic didn’t stop there – hold onto your broomsticks! We also hosted a Wicked-themed scavenger hunt, where families searched high and low to find hidden treasures around the room. Along the way, they made sure to stop at our cake pit stops – either a green cake or a pink cookie (even the snacks were on theme).
Hannah Pickup, Events Assistant commented: “Bubbles were blown, and potions were made, but the absolute highlight of the day was the amazing singing and dancing from Glinda and some very talented children and young people. A pretty wicked morning if you ask me!”
