Scores of fun at Christopher’s as we welcomed AFC Wimbledon’s Ethan Chislett
A ball was had by all with some football fun last week, as Ethan Chislett paid a visit to some of the children, families, and staff at Christopher’s.
The AFC Wimbledon midfielder took time out of training to visit our Guildford hospice and have a kick around in the hospice garden.
Ethan and families took part in some footie themed activities, including colouring AFC Wimbledon badges, creating football stickers and even some football stencilling.
There was also some delicious football cupcakes on offer (much tasty than a half-time orange!) lovingly baked by Cindy in the hospice kitchen, and Ethan took time to sign football’s and programmes.
Karen Sugarman MBE, Executive Vice-President of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, “It was an absolute pleasure to welcome Ethan to Christopher’s. With the sun shining it was fantastic to see the families play football with him and have a chance to enjoy themselves together. Visits of this kind are very special and important to families who depend on our care and support, allowing them to create special moments and memories. Huge thank you to Ethan and hope to welcome him back again soon.”
