Volunteering for Shooting Star is a great way to make a real difference while having lots of fun and making new friends along the way. Whatever your skills, experience and availabilty, there are many ways you can help. You might be able to help with the gardening at Shooting Star House, assist the fundraising team with an appeal, work at one of our five shops, or join one of our Supporter Groups.

We are indebted to people who give their time and skills for Shooting Star. We currently have approximately 500 volunteers giving a total of 60,000 hours of their time every year, which is equivalent to £500,000 in wages. Volunteers also bring in revenue through our shops and other fundraising initiatives worth another £500,000 every year.
