KSI delivers a knockout day of smiles and fun at Shooting Star Children’s Hospices
Children and families supported by Shooting Star Children’s Hospices were treated to a truly unforgettable day when global entertainer, entrepreneur and former professional boxer KSI paid a special visit to our Outreach, Therapy and Family Support Centre, Shooting Star House, in West London.

One of our most eagerly anticipated celebrity visits to date, KSI took time to meet every family, pose for photographs, sign autographs and create special memories.
Known for his hugely successful career as a YouTuber, musician, entrepreneur and boxer, KSI’s visit brought a special buzz to Shooting Star House. In a surprise that delighted everyone, he brought along the boxing gloves worn during his victorious fight against Logan Paul. Children and young people were invited to try them on, before putting their boxing skills to the test.

Families also enjoyed getting creative by designing their own KSI-inspired bandanas, which KSI kindly signed for families to have a lasting reminder of the day.

The visit included another memorable moment when KSI was treated to a specially adapted Makaton performance of his hit song Holiday, created and performed by Marion and Henry, two of our music therapists.

Karen Sugarman, Executive Vice-President of Shooting Star said of the vist, “We’re incredibly grateful to KSI for taking time to visit us and spend some meaningful time with the children, young people and families we support. From the moment he arrived, he brought warmth, energy and genuine kindness. Seeing the excitement on the faces of our families was unforgettable.”
