London Landmarks Half Marathon
Why not make 2020 a landmark year? Back for its third year, the London Landmarks Half Marathon is a central London closed road run and is the only half marathon to go through both the City of London and City of Westminster; with its unique strapline ‘the grand, the quirky, the hidden.’
If you’d like to take to the streets of London next year as part of #TeamShootingStar there are two ways to enter (and you can of course do both).
Get a ballot place
The official ballot for the race will open from Tuesday 18th June until 12 noon on Tuesday 25th June. You can apply for the ballot via the official website.
This year you will have two chances to get a place through the ballot. If you are unsuccessful in the first ballot (results announced on the 27th June) then you will be automatically added to the second ballot, which will be announced on 5th July. If you miss out on both, then apply for one of our charity places.
Get a London Landmarks charity place with us
If you’d like to apply for one of our charity places, just fill in the form at the bottom of this page. You will need to aim to raise at least £400 in sponsorship. There is no registration fee.
You must apply for a place before the registration date. After this date we will be unable to register you with London Landmarks. We do not have an exact date for the close of charity registrations yet, but it will be in January 2020.
What happens if I apply for a charity place, then get a ballot place?
If you don’t need your London Landmarks charity place anymore just let us know asap so we can offer it to someone else. You’ll still be able to run for our team with your ballot entry, receiving the same level of support as other runners, but with no minimum sponsorship requirement. Just aim to raise as much as you can!
