Special Requests

We are looking for volunteers to help distribute our key event posters and flyers in cafes, shops, gyms, libraries and community boards in the following areas:

Guildford, Richmond, Twickenham, Teddington, Hampton and Kingston

Posters and flyers can be posted out to a home address, or can be collected from one of our local retail shops, hospices or Bridge House. Poster and flyer distribution can be done at a time that suits you. If you are interested in becoming an Event Marketing Distributor then please do let us know.

Saturday, 27 April and Sunday, 28 April  Surrey Food Festival, Old Deer Park, 187 Kew Road, Richmond, TW9 2AZ.   9.30am to 12.30pm, 12.30pm to 3.30pm, 3.30pm to 7pm latest   As the beneficiary for the Food Festival we will have an awareness stall with a game/tombola   Task:   Helping on the stall  (free entry to the Festival)

Sunday, 28 April London Marathon 2019 Cheering points at Canada Water,  Tower Bridge and Embankment 9am to 4pm (come for an hour or two or for as long as you can spare between these times   Task:  Cheering on our runners.  Clappers, T-shirts provided.   Family and friends welcome.  Plenty of enthusiasm and positive energy required.

Saturday, 11 May The Richmond May Ball Fair, Richmond Green TW9 1LX, 9.30amto 12.30pm, 12.30pm  to 2.30pm, 2,30pm to 5.30pm  Task: Helping on our stall including setting up and packing up.

Sunday, 2 June, Sunrise Walk, Ham, Richmond and Hampton Court various times from 0315am to 11am depending on the task – marshalling, parking, registration etc.

Saturday, 29 June  The Full Circle Festival at Mortlake Crematorium, Townmead Road, Richmond TW9 4EN 10am to 1pm or 1pm to 3.30pm Task: Helping on our stall at the Festival which is celebrating 80 years of serving the community.

Saturday, 29 June Thamesfest 2019  Runnymede Pleasure Grounds, Windsor Road, Egham, TW20 0AE  11am to 2.30pm 1.30pm to 4.30pm or 4pm to 7.30pm  Task: Helping on our stall 

Sunday, 30 June Sunrise Walk around Guildford including Loseley Park  various times from 3.15am to 11am depending on the task – marshalling, parking, registration etc.

Sunday, 30 June Bushy Park Classic Car Show, 10.30am to 1pm, 1pm to 3pm and 3pm to 5pm  Task:  Raffle selling, bucket collecting, helping on our stall.   Dancing
