Burbeck Interiors transforms counselling rooms at Shooting Star House

Burbeck Interiors recently undertook the renovation of two counselling rooms at Shooting Star House in Hampton, transforming them into welcoming and functional spaces.
The first room, which lacked natural light, was given a bright and airy atmosphere. A neutral furniture palette was paired with soft fabrics to introduce warmth and texture. To infuse colour into the space, subtle accents in greens and pinks were added through soft furnishings and artwork. The overall design was balanced with darker elements, such as a black desk and coffee table, creating contrast and depth.
In the second room, the design drew inspiration from the hot air balloons featured in the entrance hall to Shooting Star House, bringing a playful and cohesive element into the space. Benefiting from abundant natural light, the room was finished with neutral artwork, creating a tranquil and calming atmosphere.
Rowena Judd, Head of Staging at Burbeck Interiors, shared: “This project was truly special for us. We took two rooms that were originally used for storage and reimagined them as functional, inviting environments, designed to enhance comfort and ease for families.”
Integral to the transformation were Burbeck’s trusted partners at Lex Blinds, who supplied sheer curtains for both rooms. These not only give the rooms some much-needed privacy, but also enhance the overall comfort and elegance of the spaces.
Tommy Gale, Corporate Relationships Manager at Shooting Star Children’s Hospices commented: “Burbeck Interiors did an amazing job transforming our counselling rooms at Christopher’s and we were delighted when they agreed to come back and do the same for us at Shooting Star House. The rooms look stunning, and we could not be more grateful to Burbeck for everything that they have done for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.”
We are so grateful to Burbeck Interiors for making such a positive impact on our space.
