Height of fun for Pari

It was sky’s the limit for two-year-old Pari and her mum Rashmi and dad Pankaj last month, when they had the chance to visit Elstree Aerodrome for a very special experience.

Pari, who has a complex heart condition, has been supported by us since November last year. When Kath, one of our Family Support Workers heard of her family’s wish for her to sit in an aircraft, she spoke to some of our fundraising team to see if we could make this wish a reality.

On a bright and fresh wintery day, the family made their way down to Elstree for a chance to look at some aircrafts up close.

Part of the visit was facilitated by Flying Pig Helicopters, who opened up the hangers and even let Pari and her parents have a chance to sit in the cockpits!
