A place to run in the iconic Royal Parks Half Marathon is a sought-after ticket, with places selling out fast every year! The stunning 13.1 – mile route takes runners on closed roads through four of London’s Royal Parks including Hyde Park, Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens and passed several well-known central London landmarks.

How to enter
Registration for the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2027 has not opened yet, but there are two ways to secure your place on the start line:
Charity Places
Want to run with #TeamShootingStar in 2027? Register your interest using the form below to be considered for one of our charity places.
With a charity place, you’ll pay a reduced registration fee and commit to reaching a minimum fundraising target. Full details will be confirmed when entries open, and a member of our team will be in touch with more information.
Own Place entry
You can also enter the Royal Parks Half Marathon independently by securing your own place when general entries open.
If you choose this option, you’ll pay the full registration fee and there is no minimum fundraising target. However, we’d love for you to join #TeamShootingStar and raise whatever you can to help support local families. Full details will be confirmed in due course.
Why join #TeamShootingStar?
When you join #TeamShootingStar, you will receive:

- Regular #TeamShootingStar email updates to inspire your fundraising
But most importantly, you’ll run knowing you’re supporting families with a baby, child or young person with a life-limiting condition, or who have been bereaved, across west London and Surrey. You’ll run knowing you’re support families make every moment count. It costs £12 million a year to run Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. Without the generosity of our event participants we would not be able to keep our services going.
