Walk, jog or run through some of the UK’s most spectacular locations, with distances ranging from 10km to 100km across the programme. Choose a route that suits your ability and ambition, and take part solo or alongside friends, family or colleagues.
Every step you take will help Shooting Star Children’s Hospices provide specialist care and support to babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families, across south-west London, north-west London and Surrey.
As part of #TeamShootingStar, you’ll receive fundraising advice, resources and encouragement from our Events Team to help you reach your goal.

London Winter Walk | Sat 30 or Sun 31 January 2027
Explore London’s famous landmarks on a fully supported walking challenge with a choice of distances to suit all abilities.
Windsor 50 Challenge | Sat 17 April 2027
Starting from Windsor Racecourse, choose from 10km, 25km or 50km routes through Windsor Great Park, Runnymede and along the Thames Path.
London to Brighton Challenge | Sat 29 – Sun 30 May 2027
Take on one of the UK’s most iconic endurance challenges, starting in Richmond and travelling through Surrey and Sussex before finishing on Brighton seafront.
Thames Path Challenge
Follow England’s longest river through beautiful riverside landscapes, passing through areas including Richmond, Runnymede and Windsor. Choose from a variety of distances, from 10km to the full challenge.
