Virtual Horse Racing Night

  • 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
  • Online

The Mayor and Mayoress of Spelthorne, Cllr Colin Barnard and Mrs Barbara Barnard, would be delighted for you to join their Virtual Race Night, held in their private Zoom box at the prestigious Lockdown Park on Friday 14th August.

The members enclosure will open from 7pm for you to study the form and enjoy a pre-race glass of bubbly! The first race is at 7.30pm, with be 8 races in all, lasting about an hour and half.

Should you wish to attend this unique event, organised by Al and Stu, two fabulous hosts from the BBC, tickets are just £20. Click here to buy tickets.

You will receive the race card for the evening with all the runners and riders. All you need to do is pick a horse, then return the race card with your selection for each race marked on it.

It is win only, no each way bets, yankees or trebles.  There will be a points scoring system with 10 points if your horse wins, 5 points for second and 3 points for third.

There will be prizes for top racegoers and of course don’t forget to dress for ‘a night at the races.’

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices are very proud to be one of the Mayor’s chosen charities this year, along with River Ash Girl Guiding and Spelthorne District Scouts.
