In addition to the 50,000 people taking to the streets of London for this world-renowned event this October, we’re really excited that London Marathon Events have also announced that the Virtual London Marathon will take place once again alongside it.
This means that there is even more opportunity for you to take part in this iconic marathon. Participants will have 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds from midnight to 23.59 on Sunday 2nd October to complete their 26.2 miles from home or anywhere in the world on the course of their choice. You can run or walk and take as many breaks as you like, you just have to ensure you log your 26.2 miles on the official app to receive your 2022 finishers T-shirt and all important medal.
Shooting Star Children’s Hospices has 10 places available to be part of the Virtual London Marathon. These places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. All we ask is that you pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £250 (not including gift aid).
