Celebrate a special Sunrise Walk in Richmond
Marking a decade of early mornings, we are thrilled to announce the 10th anniversary of our Richmond Sunrise Walk this June, and that over half a million pounds has been raised through our much-loved Sunrise series, and we hope 2023 will be the biggest year yet!
An event with a difference, the Sunrise Walk begins at the start of a brand-new day setting off from Ham House in Richmond on Sunday 25 June. Walkers have the chance to see the beautiful sights and picturesque surroundings as the sun rises – a perfect way to start a Sunday morning.
The route takes participants through Richmond Park – ideal for families with young children (and the dog of course), and depending on the route chosen, 10km or 20km, walkers can enjoy stunning sights over Richmond Hill, along the Thames, Ham Common, Bushy Park and Hampton Court Palace, all bathed in glorious dawn sunshine.
Participants have the opportunity to hang a lantern on a Celebration Tree to remember and celebrate loved ones and can mark their achievements at the finish line with a post-walk picnic breakfast to recharge and refuel, a medal to mark the occasion and an opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere with fellow walkers.
We’re also delighted to share that we’re launching a brand-new Sunrise Walk in Reigate on Saturday 8 July. You can register your interest in the Reigate walk here, there will be more details of the route to follow soon.
So whether you walk in memory or walk in celebration, sign up to walk together, and help us make every moment count for local families. Entry fees range from £5 for a child and £25 for an adult, depending on the chosen route. All adults can receive 25% off by using discount code SUNRISE10 by 30 April.
