A look inside our donation centre

At the heart of our retail operation is our donation centre, the behind-the-scenes hub that helps keep our eight (soon to be nine!) shops running smoothly.

Since opening, the donation centre has steadily evolved to meet the growing needs of both our charity and the wider community. As well as being our main storage space, it also acts as a handy donation point, with full accessibility and free parking, making it even easier for supporters to drop items off.

The team also hold special warehouse sales, including our much-loved ‘fill a bag’ offer, where shoppers can hunt for hidden gems at low prices.

Spencer Gayle, Distribution and Logistics Manager shared, “Our donation centre sales are a great way for us to connect with the community whilst raising further funds for this amazing charity. The sales are purely powered by volunteers who always rise to the occasion and ensure the days are always great!”

Last year we also launched our Donate at your door service for anyone who isn’t close to one of our shops or the donation centre. Every Friday in Surrey, our team hops in the van to collect donations from people’s homes. Filling in a quick online form is all it takes to arrange a pick-up.

And for those more unusual and special items, our eCommerce Lead, Oliver, reviews and prices each one at the donation centre before adding them to our eBay store – making every donation count.
