Discover the exhilaration of Open Water Swimming with the Surrey Hills Adventure Company at our inaugural Sunset Swim at the stunning Buckland Park Lake.
Choose to swim one, two, or, three laps of the lagoon (one lap is roughly 400m) and then enjoy the beautiful surroundings with your friends and family as we watch the sunset together in this magical location. Nestled between Dorking and Reigate within the picturesque Surrey Hills, this is a truly beautiful setting for our first ever Sunset Swim.
Registration for the swim is £15 and spectators are welcome to come along to support at a cost of £5 per person (under 12s are FREE) which gives access to the estate and beautiful Lakeside Walk. We encourage spectators and swimmers to travel together.
Important information:
- All swimmers must be able to swim 400m.
- The minimum age to participate is 10 years old.
- Junior swimmers age 10 – 15 are required to wear a wetsuit & tow float when swimming with SHAC.
- All swimmers are required to wear a brightly coloured swimming hat at all times when swimming with SHAC so that they are visible to our lifeguards. You can purchase one of our brand new Shooting Star Children’s Hospices swim hats for £10 at registration or get one free when you raise over £100!
